Subject
The intent of this project is to widen and realign approximately six miles of State Road (S.R.) 388 from east of Burnt Mill Creek to S.R. 77. The existing two-lane roadway will be reconstructed as a four-lane divided roadway and will include a twelve foot shared-use path along the south side of the roadway. The eastern 1.5 miles of the project will realign S.R. 388 northward to intersect with S.R. 77 at County Road 388 and a cul-de-sac will be constructed on existing S.R. 388 approximately 1 mile west of the existing S.R. 388 intersection at S.R. 77 and Edwards Road. Right-of-way and construction are not funded in the current FDOT Five-Year Work Program.
During the informal portion of the hearing, Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) representatives will be available to discuss the project, answer questions, and receive your comments. A court reporter will also be available to receive your comments. During the formal portion of the hearing, FDOT will make a formal presentation which will be followed by public comments.
