Purpose

The purpose of the proposed rule amendment is to incorporate by reference the revised Florida Medicaid Hearing Services Coverage and Limitations Handbook, July 2006. The coverage and limitations handbook revisions include policy clarifications, updated billing information, and the policy that Medicaid reimburses for only one cochlear implant in either ear.
