The Project Board and the Board of Directors will meet to hold a regularly scheduled public meeting to address subjects dealing with organization, budgeting, water conservation, project selection, funding, planning, and development, all as provided within the Interlocal Agreement creating the Cooperative. The meeting is open to the public. Due to ongoing restrictions on public gatherings because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the meeting will be conducted with applicable social distancing requirements in place, limiting the capacity of the meeting venue to approximately 50 persons. Wearing of masks is recommended but not required. Certain members of the Board may attend remotely through Communications Media Technology. Members of the public desiring to provide comment may do so in person or through submission of written comments before the meeting via mail at Polk Regional Water Cooperative, c/o Polk County Manager, Attn: Tabitha Alpers, P.O. Box 9005, Drawer CA01, Bartow, Florida, 33831-9005, or email to TabithaAlpers@polk-county.net. To assure consideration of written public comments, written comments should be received at least forty eight hours prior to the public meeting. Public comments offered in writing shall be afforded equal consideration, regardless of the method of communication. The meeting may be remotely viewed via Zoom, a media technology free for the public to use. A link will be provided on the Cooperative’s website at www.prwcwater.org with instructions regarding viewing of the meeting.
