The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) invites you to attend and participate in the FDOT District Seven, Alternatives Public Workshop to learn more about the Westshore Area and Downtown Tampa Interchanges, and the I-275 corridor between these two areas. The workshop will cover the Northwest (Veterans) Expressway (Work Program Item Segment No: 255433-2), and Tampa Interstate Study Segments 1A, 2A, 2B, 3A, and 3B (also referred to as Tampa Bay Next Sections 4, 5, and 6), (Work Program Item Segment No: 258337-2).
The Florida Department of Transportation is holding this public workshop on two separate dates and locations to allow for maximum participation. The information at each workshop will be identical, including material on the Northwest (Veterans) Expressway Design Change Re-evaluation.
The Alternatives Public Workshop is being held to allow interested persons an opportunity to provide comments concerning the location, conceptual design, and social, economic, and environmental effects of the Tampa Interstate Study (TIS) Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (SEIS) and the Northwest (Veterans) Expressway Design Change Re-evaluation.
FDOT representatives will be available at both Alternatives Public Workshop locations to discuss the process, answer questions and receive comments. Draft project documents and other project related materials will be displayed, and a PowerPoint presentation will run continuously during the workshop. Written comments will be accepted throughout the project to become part of the official public workshop record, comments should be submitted or post-marked by June 6, 2019.
