The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District Four, will conduct a Public Kick-Off Meeting regarding the Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study of Interstate 95 (I-95/SR 9) from South of Hallandale Beach Boulevard (SR 858) to North of Hollywood Boulevard (SR 820) in Broward County, Florida. The purpose of this project is to improve capacity, operations, safety, mobility, and emergency evacuation as well as reduce congestion within the study limits. Project representatives will be available during the meeting to discuss the project and answer questions. The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 14, 2016 and executed by the Federal Highway Administration and FDOT.
