The Sumter County Board of County Commissioners will be hosting a Public Alternatives Meeting for the Preliminary Engineering Study for widening of CR 501, from C-470 to C-468 in Sumter County, Florida. The Public Alternatives Meeting will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and will begin as an open house at 5:00 p.m., with a formal presentation at 5:30 p.m. This meeting is being held to afford interested persons an opportunity to discuss with staff the location, conceptual design, social, economic and environmental effects of the proposed project alternatives for the study.
