To receive public comments on draft total maximum daily loads (TMDLs) for the impaired waters in the Lake Worth Lagoon and Southeast Coast Basins, to be adopted in Rules 62-304.715 and 62-304.725, F.A.C., respectively. The fecal coliform TMDLs to be presented at the public workshop are for the Lake Worth Lagoon Basin, the E-1 Canal (WBID 3264A), and for the Southeast Coast Basin, the C-14 (Cypress Creek Canal) (WBID 3270), the C-13 West (Middle River Canal) (WBID 3273), the C-13 East (Middle River Canal) (WBID 3274), the C-12 (WBID 3276), the New River (North Fork) (WBID 3276A), the New River Canal (South) (WBID 3277A), the North New River (WBID 3277C), the Dania Cutoff Canal (WBID 3277E), the New River Canal South (WBID 3279), the C-11 East (WBID 3281), and the Las Olas Isles Finger Canal System (WBID 3226G4). The draft TMDL documents for these impaired waters will be placed on the Department’s TMDL website (http://www.dep.state.fl.us/water/tmdl/) by May 6, 2011 and will be provided upon request to interested parties by mail or via e-mail distribution. The Department will accept written comments on the draft TMDLs through June 6, 2011.
