FDOT will hold a public meeting to provide information about the widening of I-75 from four to six lanes. The meeting is an open house with no formal presentation. People attending the workshop may review project displays and aerial photographs and speak one-on-one with project team members. Displays will show plans to widen I-75 from four to six lanes within the existing median of I-75, construct minor on-ramp improvements to the Toledo Blade Boulevard and Sumter Boulevard interchanges and add sidewalks along Toledo Blade Boulevard and Sumter Boulevard within the interchange limits. The department sent notices to all property owners and interested people located at least 300 feet on either side of I-75 within the project limits. The meeting is developed in compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and related statutes. Public participation is solicited without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability or family status.
