The proposed rule updates the Library Media and Instructional Materials Training. Changes include correcting, updating and adding statutory references, providing more information about the objection process and its relation to library selection criteria, clarifying the difference between selecting instructional materials and selecting library materials, and adding information about the limits on objections that can be made by a non-parent resident. The proposed rule contains changes to the training presentation as well as the talking points that accompany the training presentation.
