The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is hosting meetings for invited stakeholders to participate in small-group discussions to begin the formulation of a corridor vision for US 41 in Charlotte County. The intent behind this effort is to formulate a Corridor Vision Plan that will be reflective of where the community would like to be and how FDOT, as a partner, can better understand the community's needs. The project team will provide a brief overview of the purpose of the project, discuss previous and current related efforts in the area, and lead discussions to gather input on the future vision for the corridor. This discussion is designed to gather and analyze input from various local and regional entities. FDOT will host a larger meeting later this year that will target the public. The same content will be provided at each meeting. More than one meeting is being offered to accommodate diverse schedules. The public is invited to attend the meeting as observers.
