The workshop will be held to solicit public comments concerning the distribution of the 2014 Housing Credits through the competitive solicitation process. The first Request for Applications (RFAs) that will be issued will be for the three (3) geographic groups (Medium/Small Counties, Broward/Miami-Dade/Palm Beach Counties, and Duval/Hillsborough/Orange/Pinellas Counties). Drafts of the three (3) geographic RFAs will be posted to Florida Housing's website prior to the workshop (expected to be sometime during the week of June 24th). At the workshop, staff will discuss the requirements of the geographic RFAs, the order that these RFAs will be issued, and the time line for the overall 2014 HC allocation process. Florida Housing will also provide a status update for non-HC funding available such as this year’s and last year’s Legislative appropriations, HOME Rental, and SAIL Programs.
