Financial Project Identification Number: 217911-2-38-01 The City of Panama City Beach invites you to attend a public information meeting concerning the Project Development for the Panama City Beach CRA Segment 3 & SR 79, which would provide roadway, stormwater drainage and utility improvements on SR79 (South Arnold Road) between U.S. 98 and SR30 (Front Beach Road) and on SR30 (Front Beach Road) between Cabana Cay Circle and Lullwater Lake in Panama City Beach. The meeting will be 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in an open house format. This meeting is being held for interested persons to learn about the proposed improvements and ask questions. The intent of this project is to transform the existing South Arnold Road (SR 79) and Front Beach Road (SR 30) from two lane facilities into a four lane divided urban roadway including bicycle lanes, a median of appropriate width with turn lanes, and sidewalks on each side. Project landscape, hardscape, lighting, irrigation, as well as the coordination of placing overhead utilities underground, will also be included. Maps, drawings, and additional information will be available for review. Representatives from Panama City Beach will be available to discuss proposed improvements, answer questions, and receive written comments. Information depicting the proposed improvements are available for public review on the project website http://www.pcbgov.com/departments-services/community-redevelopment-agency-cra/projects.
