Board Meeting – to consider District business, and conduct public hearings on regulatory and land acquisition matters. Public hearing in accordance with Section 373.59, F.S., concerning the proposed acquisition of the Dorothy H. and Jack Johnson/Withlacoochee Quail Farm Property, 351 acres +/-, Madison County, using Funds from the Florida Forever Trust Fund; also the proposed acquisition of the Walter and Helen Herndon/Withlacoochee Quail Farm Property, 415 acres +/-, Madison County using Funds from the Florida Forever Trust Fund; also the proposed sale of 1,457 acres +/- in the District’s Sandlin Bay Tract, Columbia County, Florida, to the United States of America, United States Department of Agriculture, Forest Service. A workshop will follow the Board meeting.
