Purpose

The purpose of the amendment to Rule 59G-6.010, F.A.C., is to incorporate by reference the Title XIX Long-Term Care Reimbursement Plan (the Plan), effective July 1, 2012. The rule will update the Plan to reflect changes authorized in House Bill 5001, 2012-13 General Appropriations Act, Specific Appropriation 224, which mandated a nursing home rate reduction. Changes in interim rates will be made. References to the “Bureau of Medicaid Program Analysis” will be changed to the “Bureau of Medicaid Program Finance”.
