The Trustees of the State Board of Administration will consider proposed amendments to the following rules and will be asked for permission to file for adoption: Rule 19-11.002, F.A.C., Beneficiary Designation for FRS Investment Plan; Rule 19-11.003, F.A.C., Distributions from FRS Investment Plan Accounts; and Rule 19-11.009, F.A.C., Reemployment with an FRS-covered Employer after Retirement. The proposed amendments provide updated information and procedures pertaining to naming beneficiaries and to seeking documentation of disbursements made prior to a certain date; indicate that a beneficiary who intentionally kills or procures the death of a member forfeits all rights to the member’s benefits; provide updated information applicable to employees who are rehired after retirement; and adopt a form. Notice of Proposed Rule for these rules was published in the F.A.W., on April 22, 2011. A rule hearing was offered on May 16, 2011, but was not held because it was not requested.
