Subject

The intent of this project is to widen approximately two miles of U.S. 98 from County Road (C.R.) 457 (Mack Bayou Road) to C.R. 30A West. The existing four-lane roadway will be widened to six-lanes with seven-foot buffered bicycle lanes and a ten-foot shared-use path on the south. Traffic signal modifications will be made at the existing signalized intersections. The project is funded for right-of-way acquisition. However, construction is not funded in the current FDOT Five-Year Work Program. Maps, drawings, and other information will be on display. There will be no formal presentation; however, representatives from FDOT will be available to explain proposed improvements, answer questions, and receive comments.
