The subject of the workshop is the Department’s proposed changes to: (1) Form DR-700012, Application for Certification of Communications Services Database, to provide the requirement that an address/jurisdiction database submitted by an application for certification by the Department must contain both FIPS 55 place codes and GNIS Feature Identifier place codes and that the place codes must correlate; and (2) Form DR-700016, Florida Communications Services Tax Return, to remove obsolete provisions regarding the rounding rule and to update the communications services tax rates effective January 1, 2012.
