S.R. 44 Roundabout at Kepler Road, from west of Kepler Road to east of Talisman Lane, Volusia County, Florida Financial Project Identification (FPID) No.: 431922-1 Project Description: The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) invites all persons to a virtual public meeting regarding the proposed design for a roundabout to replace the traffic signal at State Road (S.R.) 44 and Kepler Road. The purpose of the meeting is to introduce the design plans. A public hearing will also be held at a later date. The goal of the project is to produce better operational and safety performance than the existing traffic signal can provide. The project also includes pedestrian and bicycle accommodations, nighttime lighting at the intersection, and landscaping in the center island and surrounding areas. Public participation is solicited without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability, or family status.
