To adopt an updated uniform assessment calendar template that is no longer applicable. SUMMARY: The passage of House Bill 7069, which went into effect on July 1, 2017, amended section 1012.34, F.S., to make the use of Florida’s Value-Added Model (VAM) optional for the purposes of teacher evaluation. The template is, therefore, being amended to remove “teacher evaluation” as a required use of the statewide, standardized assessments; to ensure the template accurately reflects current purposes, required uses, and statutory citations for the statewide, standardized assessment; and to remove footnotes that pertain only to specific assessments and not to the blank portion of the template.
