Florida Housing encourages all potential applicants to attend the workshop – those planning to apply for the first time or who are unfamiliar with the Universal Application process, as well as persons who are familiar with the Universal Application process. Staff will present basic information about the Universal Application and will also discuss the changes between the 2009 and 2011 Universal Applications. The workshop is open to the public. No pre-registration is required and there is no attendance fee. The final Universal Application and Instructions, 2012 Qualified Allocation Plan (QAP) and Rule Chapters 67-21 and 67-48, F.A.C., which govern the Universal Application Programs, are available on Florida Housing’s Website: http://apps.floridahousing.org/StandAlone/FHFC_ECM/ContentPage.aspx?PAGE=0259. These final documents will be used at the workshop and attendees should print and bring copies, as there will not be copies available for the public at the workshop.
