The purpose of the proposed rule is to incorporate changes to the Payment Methodology for Participating Medicaid Managed Health Care Plans, as incorporated by reference in Rule 59G-8.100, F.A.C., to provide the following changes based Section 409.9124, F.S., Managed care reimbursement, effective July 1, 2010. The Agency for Health Care Administration will modify the payment methodology for participating Medicaid managed health care plans to reflect the use of fee for service encounter data and financial data as data sources in the rate setting process.
