Significant amendments were made to this Chapter in January of 2010. These changes primarily involved registration requirements for smaller facilities that process yard trash and organic material. This next round of amendments are intended to update the requirements for permitting facilities that compost municipal solid waste, as well as the requirements and criteria for testing and use of processed materials. The Chapter will also be amended to address facilities that anaerobically digest solid waste.
