Commission staff will present background on diamondback terrapin threats, conservation efforts, and possible changes to protections outlined in Rule 68A-25.002, F.A.C, Rules Relating to Reptiles. These webinars will provide the public opportunities to ask questions and provide feedback on potential rule changes affecting take and possession of diamondback terrapins in Florida. Interested parties include pet owners, turtle breeders, outreach and education facilities, and others interested in diamondback terrapin conservation.
