The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will hold a public hearing for the proposed improvements to State Road 390 from State Road 77 to U.S. 231 in Bay County, Florida. The hearing will begin as an open house at 5:30 p.m. with a formal presentation at 6 p.m., followed by a public comment period. Maps, drawings, and other information will be on display. FDOT Representatives will be available to discuss the study, answer questions, and receive comments. Draft project documents and other information depicting the proposed improvements are available for public review on the project website (nwflroads.com) and from August 15, 2019 until September 19, 2019 at the Bay County Public Library, 898 West 11th Street, Panama City, during library hours, Monday – Saturday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sundays from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Persons wishing to submit written statements, in place of or in addition to oral statements, may do so at the hearing or by sending them to the FDOT Project Manager. All information postmarked no later than September 20, 2019 will become part of the record. The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by the FDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C.§327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 14, 2016, and executed by the FHWA and FDOT.
