Chapter 62B-41, F.A.C., contains criteria and procedures for the coastal construction components of a Joint Coastal Permit. The proposed amendments will refine the requirements for permit applications for coastal construction below the mean high water line, including inlet construction and maintenance, and beach restoration and nourishment; eliminate duplicative language contained in 62B-49, F.A.C.; incorporate electronic submittal language; and update terminology. Additionally, the rule amendments will implement a 2012 amendment to Section 161.041, F.S.; and address comments raised by the Joint Administrative Procedures Committee (JAPC) during the period 2009 – 2014.
