The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is hosting an open house public meeting to discuss the widening of Sand Lake Road (SR 482) from a four-lane to a six-lane roadway; roadway improvements to International Drive; widening the bridges within the existing Kirkman Road (SR 535) interchange; the reconstruction of the bridge over Shingle Creek; a John Yong Parkway Fly-Over Bridge; sidewalks; bike paths; drainage improvements; median access modifications; and traffic signal improvements. The purpose of this open house meeting is to introduce the project and present the design to the public.
