Purpose


The purpose of the proposed repeal of Rule 12-3.011, F.A.C. (Department Personnel Disciplinary Procedures and Standards), is to repeal a rule that has been rendered obsolete and is no longer necessary. Section 110.201, F.S., requires the Department of Management Services to develop uniform personnel rules and guidelines relating to employees and positions in the career service. The Department of Management Services adopted Rule 60L-36.005, F.A.C. (Disciplinary Standards), to provide the required disciplinary and personnel procedures for all state agencies, including the Department of Revenue. The adoption of this rule rendered the Department of Revenue’s Rule 12-3.011, F.A.C., obsolete. The effect of the repeal of this rule will remove this obsolete rule from the administrative code.
