Joint Council Meeting to discuss various issues of regional importance. This is a regional stakeholder meeting to discuss issues of regional importance. Potential topics include, but are not limited to state funding for Affordable Housing; the National Flood Insurance Program; Florida’s Water Infrastructure Challenge, Mass Shooting Autopsy Records Exemption Legislation, Southeast Florida Reef Tract update, management alternatives for Human Wastewater Biosolids, and the U.S. Highway 21 Multi-Modal Corridor Project.
Attendees may include one or more board members, elected officials and staff from the South Florida and Treasure Coast Regional Planning Councils; Monroe, Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie, and Indian River counties and their respective Transportation Planning/Metropolitan Planning Organizations; South Florida Regional Transportation Authority; Southeast Florida Transportation Council; Monroe, Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie, and Indian River municipal governments; Florida Department of Environmental Protection; Florida Department of Transportation, and South Florida Water Management District.
