The FDOT Aviation Office in conjunction with the Florida Department of Community Affairs and the Florida Airports Council initiated an Airport Compatible Land Use Study. This study’s purpose is to bring stakeholders together to discuss the potential need for improvements to the land use planning in the vicinity of airports. This is the second meeting of the Airport Compatible Land Use Working Group. Information will focus on an overview of the Florida aviation system and the current land use situation around Florida airports.
