Changes to all sections of Chapter 62-780, F.A.C., Contaminated Site Cleanup Criteria, in order to merge Chapters 62-770 (Petroleum Contamination Site Cleanup Criteria), 62-782 (Drycleaning Solvent Cleanup Criteria), and 62-785 (Brownfields Cleanup Criteria Rule) into the existing Chapter 62-780, F.A.C. The purpose and effect is to achieve rule consolidation and consistency across these contaminated site cleanup programs, where possible, based on governing statutes. Concurrently, the Department is proposing to repeal Chapters 62-770, 62-782 and 62-785, F.A.C. The rule repeals are in support of the Governor’s Executive Order #11-01 (and subsequent Executive Orders 11-72 and 11-211).
