The work consists of widening Interstate 75 (I-75) from four (4) lanes to six (6) lanes, a complete interchange reconstruction at State Road 48, new ramps along with milling and resurfacing at the County Road (CR) 476B/CR 673 interchange, drainage, Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) improvements, guardrail, signalization, signing and pavement markings, plus miscellaneous structures. The limits of the project are from the Hernando/Sumter County line to south of CR 470.
