Financial Management Numbers: 435804-1-22-01 and 231932-1-22-01 Project Description: Project Development and Environment Study, SR-9/I-95 at SR-804/Boynton Beach Boulevard Interchange and SR-9/I-95 at Gateway Boulevard Interchange, in Palm Beach County The purpose of the study is to enhance overall traffic operations and improve the Level of Service (LOS) at the existing interchanges to accommodate projected travel demand. The study will also consider Strategic Intermodal System (SIS) connector improvements needed within the project area and will be consistent with plans for SR-9/I-95, including the potential extension of express lanes through Palm Beach County. The purpose of this meeting is to provide an opportunity for the public to learn about the study, become familiar with the study process, and provide initial feedback. The meeting will start at 5:30 p.m. A continuous loop presentation will be shown throughout the meeting. Attendees will have an opportunity to discuss the study, ask questions, and provide comments on the potential improvements. FDOT staff and consultant staff members will be available to discuss the project and answer questions. An Elected and Appointed Officials/Agencies Kick-off Meeting will take place prior to the public meeting from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the same location. The meetings are intended to introduce the project to officials, agencies, and the public; and to provide an opportunity to discuss social, environmental, and economic effects of the potential improvements.
