Updated Reporting Instructions Manual FINAL9-19-17.docx
The Division of Unclaimed Property received approval to update the link address for the Reporting Instructions Manual from www.FLTreasureHunt.org to www.FLTreasureHunt.gov. The updated manual reflects that change. No other changes have been made to the language within the document itself.

Section 1.3.3.2 of the Manual is changed to:
1. Reflect a change in the name of the Department’s contractor from Xerox to Conduent.
2. Reflect the new account number Conduent has assigned to the Department for unclaimed property.
3. Require that physical certificates be registered in the name of “Hare & Co., FBO Florida Department of Financial Services,” instead of simply “Florida Department of Financial Services,” because the name of Conduent’s broker is “Hare & Co.”
4. Update a Xerox email address to a Conduent email address.
5. Replace a Xerox phone number with a Conduent email address as contact information for persons attempting to deliver foreign securities.
6. Replace Xerox’s name in some parts with the words “the Department’s securities custodian.”
