Financial Management No 238011-1-32-05
Project Description: SR 44 at Countryside Boulevard Access Management Public Workshop
Lake County
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is conducting a public workshop regarding a project that improves access management along SR 44, at Countryside Boulevard, in Lake County. The project improves both safety and operations on SR 44 by converting the full median opening to a directional median opening. This modification reduces the number of potential conflict points by restricting turning movements at this median opening.
The workshop is scheduled for Tuesday, February 12th, 2013 at the Penbrooke Center’s Grand Hall located at 33825 Countryside Boulevard, Leesburg, Florida 34748. It begins with an open house at 5:30 p.m. and includes a brief presentation at 6:00 p.m. Staff members will also be available to answer questions before and after the presentation. Public comments are encouraged and can be submitted at this hearing; by mail to Mr. David Dangel, P.E., Public Involvement Coordinator, Inwood Consulting Engineers, 3000 Dovera Drive, Suite 200, Oviedo, Florida 32765; or by email to ddangel@inwoodinc.com no later than February 26th, 2013. All comments, written and oral, will become part of the project’s public record.
