The Florida Coordinating Council for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (FCCDHH) is mandated by Florida statutes 413.271 to serve as an advisory and coordinating body which recommends policies that address the needs of Florida’s community who are deaf, hard of hearing, late deafened or have combined hearing and vision loss. Section D of the statute requires that the Council meets at least once each quarter.
The purpose of the Quarterly Council Meeting will be to initiate the foundation, framework, scope and timelines for the development of the 2015 Biennial Report.

The Department of Management Services’ Division of People First invites prospective vendors to attend a vendor forum scheduled for Nov. 21, 2014, from 9 a.m. – noon, at 4075 Esplanade Way, Room 152, in Tallahassee, Fla. The forum will provide a demonstration of the current Human Resource Outsourcing (HRO) software and services for the system known as People First and will provide participants an opportunity to further understand both the workings of the current system and the upcoming procurement for the next generation of the People First system. Prospective vendors will be afforded the opportunity to ask questions during the forum. The department will respond to those questions in writing and email the answers to the participants.
Interested participants must attend the vendor forum in person, as a conference call option will not be available.
