On November 27, 2017, the Florida Housing Finance Corporation issued an order granting waiver of Rule 67-48.002(95), F.A.C. from Cocoa Housing Preservation II, LLC allowing Petitioner to exchange its 2016 credits for a subsequent year's allocation now rather than in the last calendar quarter of 2018. Florida Housing determined that the petitioner had demonstrated that it would suffer a substantial hardship if the waiver was not granted. The petition was filed on August 24, 2017, and notice of the receipt of petition was published on August 31, 2017 in Vol. 43, Number 170, F.A.R.

All of the loan proceeds will be allocated for the purposes (1) of refunding all or a portion of the outstanding Higher Educational Facilities Financing Authority Revenue Bonds, Series 2005 and Series 2011 (Flagler College Projects) the proceeds of which were used to finance certain capital improvements to the Flagler College campus located in Saint Augustine, Florida, (2) funding any necessary reserves and (3) paying the costs of issuance of the Flagler College Bonds.
b. Authorizing the appropriate officials and officers of the Authority to take all necessary actions to authorize, sell and deliver the Series 2017 Bonds
B. Review and Consideration of all matters relating to the application of Rollins College, Inc. to the Authority for the Authority to issue revenue bonds (the “Rollins College Bonds, including, without limitation:
a. the conduct of a public hearing with respect to the contemplated issuance by the Authority of up to $45,000,000 in principal amount of its revenue bonds for the refunding of Higher Educational Facilities Financing Authority Revenue Bonds, Series 2010 (Rollins College Project) under Chapter 243, Part II, Florida Statutes all as more particularly described in the separate public hearing notice published pursuant to Section 147(f) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District One, will hold a public information workshop for the Old Dixie Trail Project Development and Environment (PD&E) study on Tuesday, December 5 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Lake Alfred Lions Club at 175 N. Nekoma Avenue in Lake Alfred, FL, 33850. The meeting will be an open house format with no formal presentation. Display boards will be available for viewing and project representatives will be available at the workshop to answer questions and discuss the project. FDOT encourages the public to attend.
This trail will connect the trailheads of the Auburndale-TECO Trail and the Haines City Trail, for a distance of approximately 12 miles. The Old Dixie Trail PD&E Study is intended to provide regional connectivity that will offer recreational and economic development benefits. The ODT also offers connections to the Lake Alfred Trail and the Chain of Lakes Trail, as well as other planned future trails.
The study is divided into two phases. Phase I, the feasibility study and Phase II, the PD&E study. The project is currently in the feasibility phase. The PD&E study phase is anticipated to begin in Spring 2018.
The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) pursuant to 23 U.S.C. §327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 14, 2016 and executed by the Federal Highway Administration and FDOT.
