The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) invites you to attend and participate in a public information meeting regarding the proposed I-75 at Clark Road (SR 72) Interchange Improvements that includes reconstruction of the interchange to an eight-lane Diverging Diamond Interchange (DDI) in Sarasota County (FPID: 201277-3-52-01). The proposed project also includes reconstruction of all on and off ramps in both the northbound and southbound direction. A 12-foot auxiliary lane, both northbound and southbound, will be constructed on I-75 along the inside of the existing I-75 lanes from Clark Road to Proctor Road. The project will also include new mast arms for the existing signal at Catamaran Drive, a new signal at Queensbury Boulevard, noise barrier walls, as well as buffered bike lanes and sidewalks along both sides of Clark Road and resurfacing of existing pavement. The I-75 bridges over Clark Road (SR 72) (No. 170085 and No. 170086) will remain with three lanes in both directions of travel. Edwards Road from Oleander Boulevard to U.S. 1 reconstruction project in St. Lucie County, Florida
The purpose of this project is to reconstruct Edwards Road to restore functionality of the roadway corridor after damages sustained from Hurricane Irma in September 2017. The proposed reconstruction includes replacing the pavement and existing drainage system, replacing the signal at Oleander Blvd., signing and pavement markings, and installing a new fiber optic cable.
The purpose of the scheduled meeting is to present information about the proposed reconstruction. The meeting will have an open house format and staff will be available to answer questions and provide assistance at any time during the meeting.
