    • To create a new rule to provide language and incorporate by reference the Application for Change of Mailing Address form.
    • This proposed rulemaking allows a Class “G” Statewide Firearm license applicant or licensee satisfying the shooting range qualification requirement, that follows its corresponding classroom instruction, the opportunity to qualify with more than one firearm of the same type at the time of initial qualification or annual requalification. The effect will be to provide division applicants and licensees with a simplified alternative when desiring to qualify and carry additional firearms in connection with duties regulated under Chapter 493, Florida Statutes.
    • The Board proposes the rule amendment to review the rule for needed changes and to update the application forms incorporated through the rule.

    • The Agency is statutorily mandated to create a new section of rules to establish requirements for submission, collection, and publication of claims data pursuant to section 408.05, Florida Statutes, as well as requirements for implementation of a consumer friendly, internet-based platform that will be used to publish information derived from the claims data for public use.
  • Petitions and Dispositions Regarding Rule Variance or Waiver (7)
    • On December 8, 2017, the Florida Housing Finance Corporation issued an order granting waiver of Rule 67-48.0072(26), F.A.C. from Centerra Associates, Ltd., allowing Petitioner to extend the closing date for the HOME loan from December 17, 2017 to February 15, 2018. Florida Housing determined that the petitioner had demonstrated that it would suffer a substantial hardship if the waiver was not granted. The petition was filed on August 24, 2017, and notice of the receipt of petition was published on November 8, 2017 in Vol. 43, Number 217, F.A.R.
    • On December 8, 2017, the Florida Housing Finance Corporation issued an order granting waiver of Rule 67-48.0072(26), F.A.C. from Sunset Pointe Associates, Ltd., allowing Petitioner to extend the closing date for the HOME loan from December 17, 2017 to February 15, 2018. Florida Housing determined that the petitioner had demonstrated that it would suffer a substantial hardship if the waiver was not granted. The petition was filed on November 6, 2017, and notice of the receipt of petition was published on November 8, 2017 in Vol. 43, Number 217, F.A.R.
    • an Emergency Variance for Subparagraph 61C-1.004(1)(a), Florida Administrative Code and Section 5-203.13, 2009 FDA Food Code from Pizza Mojo LLC located in Davie. The above referenced F.A.C. addresses the requirement that at least one service sink is provided for the cleaning of mops or similar cleaning tools and the disposal of mop water. They are requesting to share the mop sink located within an adjacent business. The Division of Hotels and Restaurants will accept comments concerning the Petition for 5 days from the date of publication of this notice. To be considered, comments must be received before 5:00 p.m.
    • On December 8, 2017, the Florida Housing Finance Corporation issued an order granting waiver of Rule 67-48.002(95), F.A.C. from Denton Cove, Ltd., allowing Petitioner to exchange its tax credits at this time, rather than in the last calendar quarter of 2018. Florida Housing determined that the petitioner had demonstrated that it would suffer a substantial hardship if the waiver was not granted.     • On December 8, 2017, the Florida Housing Finance Corporation issued an order granting waiver of Rule 67-21.008(1)(a), F.A.C. from West Lake I, Ltd., allowing Petitioner to close on its financing even though a mortgage will not have been recorded. Florida Housing determined that the petitioner had demonstrated that it would suffer a substantial hardship if the waiver was not granted. The petition was filed on November 20, 2017, and notice of the receipt of petition was published on November 21, 2017 in Vol. 43, Number 225, F.A.R.
    • On December 8, 2017, the Florida Housing Finance Corporation issued an order granting waiver of Rules 67-48.004(3)(c) and 67-21.003(8)(c), F.A.C. from Coral Bay Cove, LLC, granting Petitioner the use of bonds issued by Miami-Dade County instead of Corporation-issued bonds.
