On February 7, 2013, it issued a final order on a petition for waiver from Washington County Kennel Club, Inc., d/b/a Ebro Greyhound Park, Petitioner, filed November 15, 2012, and advertised in Vol. 38, No. 84, of the Florida Administrative Register – DBPR Case No. 2012048225 (VW 2012-365).
The final order denies Petitioner a waiver of the requirements of Rule 61D-11.005(6), Florida Administrative Code (F.A.C.), that prohibits cardroom occupational licensees “from participating in card games at the licensed cardroom facility where they are employed.”

The FDOT is hosting a public information meeting for a project to make roadway improvements along US 301 from CR 675 to Moccasin Wallow Road in Manatee County.
The meeting will be an informal open house. There will be no formal presentation. People are welcome to attend anytime between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. Department staff will be available to discuss the project, receive public input and answer your questions. Improvements in this project include expanding the road from two lanes to an urban five lane road. It will be built within the existing right-of-way.

Final workshop to consider amendments to Chapter 62-330, F.A.C., the statewide “Environmental Resource Permitting” rules, including Applicant’s Handbook Volumes I and II. This workshop is in conjunction with a workshop to consider revisions to the “Operating Agreement Concerning Regulation Under Part IV, Chapter 373, F.S., Between Northwest Florida Water Management District and Department of Environmental Protection,” and its incorporation into Rule 62-113.100, F.A.C., where other similar agreements are incorporated. The agreement is currently incorporated under Chapter 62-346, F.A.C., but that chapter may be repealed following the Department’s Statewide Environmental Resource Permitting rulemaking.; February 27, 2013, 10:00 a.m. (EST); This workshop will be broadcast via webinar. Information on the alternatives being considered to expand SR 776 to six lanes from County Road 775 (Placida Road) to Spinnaker Boulevard in Charlotte County will be available at the workshop.
