On July 14, 2020 the Division issued an order. The Final Order was in response to a Petition for a permanent variance from NF III Tampa DT, LLC, at 101 East Tyler Street, Tampa, FL filed June 19, 2020, and advertised on June 24, 2020 in Vol. 46, No. 123, of the Florida Administrative Register. No comments were received in response to the petition. The Final Order on the Petition for Variance denies the Petitioner a variance from Rules 2.2.2.3 and 2.2.2.5, ASME A17.1, 2013 edition, as adopted by Rule 61C-5.001 Florida Administrative Code that requires a sump pump be provided because the Petitioner has not demonstrated that the purpose of the underlying statute has been met and that Petitioner would suffer a substantial hardship if required to comply with this rule (VW 2020-088).

Project Description: State Road A1A/Haven Ashe Bridge over the Boca Raton Inlet in Palm Beach County, FL.
The project consists of repainting the SR A1A/Haven Ashe Bridge over the Boca Raton Inlet in the city of Boca Raton. The project includes painting the steel and concrete portions of the bascule bridge.
Construction will begin in August 2020 and is estimated to be completed in late fall 2020. The estimated construction cost is $802,818.
During the virtual public meeting, brief presentations followed by comments and questions from the public will be held at 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. FDOT staff and consultant staff members will be available to discuss the project and answer questions.

The Central Florida Expressway Authority (CFX) invites you to a Virtual Pre-Construction Meeting for the State Road 538/Poinciana Parkway Widening Project from Ronald Reagan Parkway to County Road 580/Cypress Parkway.
The virtual meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, July 29, 2020, 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. To participate, please pre-register by 5 p.m. Wednesday, July 29 by visiting https://bit.ly/SR538vpmJuly2020. This 7-mile project will include widening SR 538/Poinciana Parkway by adding two lanes to create a divided four lane expressway. The virtual meeting will allow the public to view project information, including maps and graphics, and submit questions and comments.
CFX conducted a noise analysis and identified three locations where sound walls would be viable measure to reduce traffic noise. CFX is now trying to determine the level of support from nearby property owners for the construction of these sound walls. The proposed sound wall concepts will be shown in the virtual meeting. Public comments will be accepted until Friday, August 7, 2020 for the public record.
