Subsection 65C-22.001(6), F.A.C., states in pertinent part that child care programs must follow the standards found in the “Child Care Facility Handbook,” October 2017, incorporated herein by reference.

On July 26, 2018, the Department received a request withdrawing the Petition for variance from Calhoun County Courthouse, filed April 4, 2018, and advertised on April 10, 2018 in Vol. 44 No. 70 of the Florida Administrative Register. The Petition for variance requested a variance from Rule 2.8.2.2, ASME A17.1, 2013 edition, as adopted by 61C-5.001, Florida Administrative Code that requires no foreign equipment be located in the machine room. The Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Division of Hotels and Restaurants, Bureau of Elevator Safety is taking no further action on the petition (VW 2018-055).
