The workshop may also include a general discussion of the fire investigator program, instructor requirements, provider requirements, recommended course work, general procedures, exams, and proposed rule development in that regard. This workshop will take input from affected persons as to what rule amendments are necessary to implement this statutory change.

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Trustees of the Internal Improvement Trust Fund of the State of Florida is proposing the establishment of an Erosion Control Line, pursuant to Section 161.161, Florida Statutes. A designee of the Board of the Trustees of the Internal Improvement Trust Fund will hold a Public Workshop and a Public Hearing immediately following the Workshop at Broward County Main Library Auditorium, 100 South Andrews Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33301 on September 29, 2015, held at 6:00 pm for the purposes of considering evidence bearing on the location of a proposed Erosion Control Line for the beach erosion control project known as Broward County Shore Protection Project – Segment II.
This Workshop is the public’s opportunity to ask questions about the proposed erosion control line. This Hearing is the public’s opportunity to comment on, speak in support of, object to, and submit for consideration materials relevant to the location of the proposed Erosion Control Line.
If approved by the Board of Trustees, the Erosion Control Line will be recorded in the county’s Book of Plats and will become the boundary between private uplands and sovereign submerged lands owned by the State.
The propose Erosion Control Line lies along a section of Broward County fronting the ATLANTIC OCEAN at the line of mean high water. The Erosion Control Line lies in Sections 18, 19, 30, and 31, Township 49 South, Range 43 East and Section 06, Township 50 South, Range 43 East in Broward County Florida.
