Florida Housing determined that the petitioner had demonstrated that it would suffer a substantial hardship if the waiver was not granted. - FDOT will hold a second visioning workshop to provide information and gather feedback about the proposed improvements to 10th Avenue from Riverside Drive to 17th Street West. This workshop was originally scheduled for September 12, 2017, but it has been rescheduled for November 7th due to Hurricane Irma. The workshop will include a PowerPoint presentation followed by open discussion. People attending the workshop may review project displays and aerial photographs, and speak one-on-one with project team members.
The workshop is developed in compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and related statutes. - Public Hearing for the Howard Frankland Bridge PD&E Study (northbound bridge replacement) and Transit Evaluation; WPI Segment No.: 422799 1. The FDOT is conducting a two-session public hearing regarding the replacement of the northbound Howard Frankland Bridge (I-275/SR 93) in Pinellas and Hillsborough Counties. The same information will be provided at both sessions. This span of the bridge opened to traffic in 1959 and is nearing the end of its serviceable life. The proposed improvements involve the replacement of the existing northbound I-275 Howard Frankland Bridge over Old Tampa Bay, adding express lanes to the new wider bridge and evaluating options for accommodating a future premium transit envelope within the bridge corridor. The purpose of this public hearing is to present information and receive public input regarding the bridge replacement; however, information regarding both the bridge replacement and future premium transit accommodations will be available at the public hearing.
