The Petition for variance requested a variance from Rule 2.2.2.5 or 2.2.2.6, ASME A17.1, 2009 edition, as adopted by Chapter 30, Section 3001.2 Florida Building Code adopted by 61C-5.001(1)(a), Florida Administrative Code that requires upgrading the elevators sump and pump operations. The Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Division of Hotels and Restaurants, Bureau of Elevator Safety is taking no further action on the petition (VW2015-284).

East Colonial Drive (State Road(SR) 50) from East of Avalon Park Boulevard/Pilgrim Street to East of Chuluota Road (County Road (CR) 419)/Columbia School Road

On behalf of the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), the public is invited to a public meeting regarding improvements for SR 50 to provide roadway capacity to address future traffic demand, serve the community’s needs, and improve the quality of life for residents. This is the second public meeting for this project. The project will widen the roadway from a four-lane, urban other principal arterial to a six-lane urban other principal arterial and provide accommodations for both bicycles and pedestrians. The project is not currently funded for construction.

The purpose of the emergency conference call was to consider emergency rulemaking to allow good and safe food to be utilized that did not meet the current minimum acid requirements for oranges for processing. The emergency rulemaking falls under 120.54(4)(b), F.S., which states those rules pertaining to perishable agricultural commodities shall be included in the definition of rules relating to the public health, safety, or welfare.
The action of the Agency Head was to unanimously accelerate through emergency rulemaking 20ER15-2 the period for which oranges for canning and concentrating purposes shall be deemed mature to include the last 11 days of November and 20ER15-3 suspending the anhydrous citrus acid ratio for fresh navel oranges for the 2015-16 season.
