- The Central Florida Expressway Authority (CFX) will host an Alternative Corridor Public Workshop for the SR 408 (Spessard L. Holland East-West Expressway) Eastern Extension from State Road 50 to the SR50/SR520 Intersection Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study. The project identification number is 408-254.
The meeting will be an open house format from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Project staff will be available to answer questions and discuss the study with interested members of the public.
The study evaluates alternatives for the extension of SR 408 approximately seven miles from State Road 50 to the SR 50/SR 520 intersection.

- To obtain public comments on the draft injection well permit for the City of St. Petersburg, who applied on December 6, 2016, for a permit to construct an injection well system (File No. 033168-007-008-UC/1M, WACS 47043). The project is located at 7500-26th Avenue North, St. Petersburg, Florida 33710, and will consist of two injection wells to a total depth of 1,150 feet below land surface. The injection wells will be used for the disposal of domestic effluent which may include reuse water from the Northwest Water Reclamation Facility (NWWRF) and the City’s Master Reuse distribution system. The maximum permitted capacity of each well is 18.65 million gallons per day (MGD) under normal conditions, and up to 22.38 MGD during extreme flow conditions. The new injection wells will be located either at the existing water reclamation facility or on the City’s Parks and Recreation Department property which is immediately north of the WRF.
During the public comment period provided in Rule 62-528.315, F.A.C., any interested person may submit written comments on the draft permit. All comments shall be considered in making the final decision and shall be answered as provided in Rule 62-528.330, F.A.C.
