- notice that Amelia Research and Recovery, LLC's (Petitioner), petition for a variance of subsection 1A-31.0092(1), F.A.C., is denied without prejudice. The petition filed January 1, 2020, sought a variance of subsection 1A-31.0092(1), F.A.C., to allow Petitioner to file a permit renewal application for underwater exploration encompassing an area 18 square miles in size. This petition was published on January 22, 2020, in Volume 46, Number 12 of the FAR. On July 9, 2020, the Division denied the variance without prejudice because a variance was granted for the original permit and it is not necessary to grant a variance to renew that permit.
