14-90.010. Certification  


Effective on Thursday, September 16, 2010
  • 1(1) Each bus transit system shall annually submit a safety and security certification to the Department. The certification shall be submitted no later than February 15, for the prior calendar year period. The certification shall attest to the following:

    40(a) The adoption of an SSPP and an SPP in accordance with established standards set forth in this rule chapter.

    60(b) Compliance with its adopted SSPP and SPP.

    68(c) Performance of safety inspections on all buses operated by the system in accordance with this rule chapter.

    86(d) Reviews of the SSPP and SPP have been conducted to ensure they are up to date.

    103(2) The certification shall include:

    108(a) The name and address of the bus transit system, and the name and address of the entity(ies) who performed bus safety inspections and security assessments during the prior calendar year, if different from that of the bus transit system.

    148(b) A statement signed by an officer or person directly responsible for management of the bus transit system attesting to compliance with this rule chapter.
