15A-7.008. Combination Vehicle Testing and Licensing

  • 1(1) For an unrestricted Class “A” license, the 9driver must pass the combination vehicle knowledge exam, in addition to other applicable CDL knowledge exams, and the 27pretrip inspection, 29basic control and road test in a truck-tractor/semitrailer combination commercial vehicle as defined by Rule 4415A-7.001, 45F.A.C.

    46(2) For a Class “A” license 52restricted to “No Tractor-Trailers”, the driver must pass the combination knowledge exam, in addition to other applicable CDL knowledge exams, and the pretrip, basic control and road test in a vehicle that is not a truck-tractor/semitrailer combination as defined by Rule 9315A-7.001, 94F.A.C., but otherwise represents vehicles requiring a class A CDL, including tow truck configurations as defined in subsection 11215A-7.001(9), 113F.A.C. The license will be restricted to “No Tractor-Trailers”.
