20-13. Market Classification, Maturity Standards And Processing Or Packing Restrictions For Hybrids |
1(1) Classification: The market classification of the citrus hybrid “LB8-9” shall be “Tangerine” or “Mandarin,” a mandarin hybrid (21Citrus reticulata 23x 24(25Citrus paradisi 27x 28Citrus reticulata30).
31(2) Identification:
33(a) The proper identification shall be either Sugar Belle42® 43brand (subject to a written agreement with Florida Foundation Seed Producers or its designee), “Florida Tangerine,” “Tangerine,” “Florida Mandarin” or “Mandarin” and one such name shall be used whenever this fruit is identified.
78(b) In order to be marketed as “Florida Mandarin” or “Mandarin” the fruit must meet the requirements set forth in Rule 9920-13.0042, 100F.A.C.
101(3) In order to be marketed as seedless or low-seeded the fruit must meet the definitions set forth in Rule 12120-13.0041, 122F.A.C.
123(4) Standards: All state laws and rules applicable to “Tangerines” shall be applicable to this fruit.
