1Biscayne Aquifer – The minimum level for the Biscayne aquifer is the level that results in movement of the saltwater interface landward to the extent that ground water quality at an established withdrawal point is insufficient to serve as a water supply source. A MFL violation occurs when water levels within the aquifer produce this degree of saltwater movement at any point in time.
